How EQUAL Works
EQUAL has the ability to adapt, respond and dampen vibrations at the tire footprint. It compensates for irregularities found in both the tire and wheel assembly and at the tire road surface contact. Because EQUAL is free to move inside the tire, it is able to continuously adapt to changing speeds, acceleration, decelartion, cornering forces, and other typical road conditions. EQUAL reduces tire vibration in 3 ways:
In all cases, tire vibration producing forces are reduced before they are transmitted to the vehicle suspension system.
