Marketing Coordinator

IMI is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to be responsible for supporting marketing, and business development initiatives.  From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned to company goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, trade show and event planning, branding, advertising, and promotional materials. The marketing coordinator must be a collaborative, highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strategic thinking capabilities who can effectively connect with others to deepen overall brand engagement while demonstrating the honesty and integrity of IMI’s core values.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis 
  • Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role with B2B experience preferred 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with internal and external partners 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for representing brand image in public, during events and demonstrations, and while participating at trade shows 
  • Demonstrable experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint required. Adobe, WordPress, and NetSuite (CRM) are a plus 
  • Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and materials, and set up/tear down 
  • Conduct necessary research and prepare reports by identifying, collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data including but not limited to competitors 
  • Support the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analyzing various marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success, setting objectives, planning, and organizing presentations, and updating calendars as assigned 
  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales team, and provide instructions for use or promotion 
  • Maintain a directory and inventory of marketing materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed 
  • Continually suggest creative ways to increase brand awareness 
  • Support the maintenance and development of internal tools and processes, including, but not limited to an online learning program, intranet sites, and CRM database 
  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation 
  • Responsible for management of IMI University, including but not limited to researching, selecting, crafting, and distributing internal and external training
