IMI is excited to announce its recent hire of John Bruce, who joins the team as the Southeast Territory Manager.  John brings with him 30 years’ experience in the trucking industry, with 18 years spent focusing on commercial truck tires.  Within his new role, John will maintain and build commercial dealer and fleet relationships within Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.

“When I started my career in the commercial trucking industry, I was in the Florida panhandle,” Bruce said.  “I’m eager to get back to the territory I initially developed.” John brings significant knowledge of both commercial and light truck tire technology to IMI, most recently working in a tire sales training capacity.

In addition to training representatives in the commercial tire industry, John has built a reputation on working with fleets to improve their efficiencies and maintenance practices.  “By understanding the varying needs between fleet managers and maintenance technicians, I’ve been able to bridge the disconnect that can sometimes occur and thus become effective at tracking tire performance for fleet partners,” Bruce said.

Over the years, John has gained expertise and garnered a reputation as a “Cost Reduction Specialist” to commercial fleets, earning a number of special recognition awards for his ability to track tire performance and for his dedication to providing value to fleets.  “Throughout my career, I’ve always prided myself in my drive to raise the bar and exceed everyone’s expectations – I look forward to doing that here at IMI for our commercial dealer and fleet partners,” he said.
