LUG LINX indicator/retainers are resistant to road salt, water/moisture, detergents, oil and most other contaminants/solvents. Our high-temperature option melts at higher temperatures.

Check all lug nuts, stud, rims and threads for damage. If everything passes inspection, torque the lug nuts to manufacturers recommendations, and fit LUG LINX onto the lug nut.

LUG LINX is available in yellow, and high temp is available in orange. Custom color options are available upon request if you are looking to match your current fleet branding. Please contact us for more information.

LUG LINX is available in 19mm, 21mm, 22mm, 27mm, 32mm, and 33mm in the standard option, and is available in 32mm and 33mm for the high temp option. For additional sizes, contact us.

LUG LINX is designed to melt when there is excessive heat at the wheel end, usually a result of brakes sticking or problems with the bearings. LUG LING is made of material that will melt at 248°F. LUG LINX High Temp are able to withstand greater temperatures for specific applications, and will not melt until 308°F.

LUG LINX was designed in different variations specifically to maximize the best fit for their respective wheel size and configuration. The 19, 21, and 22mm were designed with mine sites in mind – the cap provides an added benefit, keeping the dust out of the lug nuts. The concept of the design isn’t limited to a specific shape, what is important is the join between them providing retention and movement, allowing indication of a loose lug nut.
