MEET BECKY JOHNSONTHE PERSISTER
Becky Johnson is our Territory Manager for the Piedmont region (WV, VA, KY, TN, NC, SC). Based on her field work over the last 3 years, she considers herself a ‘newbie’ to the commercial trucking industry—the majority of people she’s met have been in this profession for many, many years. Prior to joining IMI, she worked at various companies developing and maintaining distribution networks. She enjoys building and maintaining business relationships, as people are her passion. She’s had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful people during her career and looks forward to meeting many more!
She never dreamed she would work in the commercial trucking industry, but then again, she could say the same thing about other industries she’s had the pleasure of working in! She came to IMI by way of a LinkedIn connection…she received an invition to connect with someone she had not met, and after viewing his profile and accepting the connection, he recommended her to IMI—and the rest is history!
Becky lives in Cornelius, NC with her husband, Steve, and two dogs, Lucy and Stella. She loves the beach, cooking, and spending quality and fun time with her family and friends.
GET TO KNOW BECKY…
BECKY’s favorite Core Value is DRIVE.
Being driven pushes one to take action. You can be motivated without being driven but you can’t be driven without being motivated. Being driven is that part that takes the motivation into actions.
BECKY’S favorite part of working at IMI is…
I enjoy the freedom to manage my territory and make decisions to establish and maintain strong business relationships with commercial tire dealers, fleets, and IMI’s distribution channel partners.
BECKY'S MOTTO IS...
“Life is good.”
My mother always told us, “You may think you have problems, but if you walked into a room full of people and everyone laid their problems on the table, you will pick up yours and leave with them.”
WHAT'S IN YOUR COFFEE?
More like ‘what’s in your cream’…my coffee is half coffee/half cream and some artificial sweetner.
WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
My Mother has been and continues to be my biggest inspiration. She is an amazing mother to not only her children, but other children/adults, too. She is the best mentor, friend, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, etc. anyone could ask for. I am blessed to call her my mother!
WHAT WEBSITE DO YOU VISIT THE MOST?
Wikipedia is my FAVORITE Website! Not only can you learn about the topic you searched, but you can really dig down into the topic/word/business.
